Upcoming sibling indie-rock band Dubinski have announced the release of new single “Back To Basics”, out November 19th, to coincide with a run of live shows, including a support tour with Young Knives, a headline tour through Europe, and a London headline gig at Camden Assembly on Tuesday December 2nd.

Recorded at Salvation Studios in Brighton and produced by Grammy Award-winner Mike Horner, “Back To Basics” is Dubinski’s first new material since their acclaimed album ‘What Is Your Definition Of Happiness?’, released March 2025. A powerful, propulsive banger about choosing self-care over self-destruction, “Back To Basics” is another big leap forward for Dubinski, one of the UK’s most exciting and hardest working indie bands. Life on the road can take a heavy toll on a musician’s mental and physical health, something Dubinski frontman Eugene Gaine has learned the hard way.
“ “Back To Basics” is about facing up to addictive and self-destructive patterns”, he explains. “The journey towards finding balance is a tough road to navigate, but breaking the cycle brings motivation and clarity. Attaining a healthy state of mind can only come from a commitment to taking care of yourself, building routine, and creating structure.”
Dubinski’s UK tour supporting Young Knives kicks off in Bournemouth on November 11th. “We’re honestly over-excited about this tour”, says Eugene. “Young Knives have been hugely influential on our musical path – “Human Again” has basically been the screensaver in my brain for years. Getting the chance to tour with one of our indie heroes is unreal. Bring it on!”

After touring with Young Knives, Dubsinki head to Europe for their own headline tour, which takes in a performance at Rolling Stone Beach Festival in Germany, before returning to the UK for their biggest London headline show yet at Camden Assembly on Tuesday, December 2nd.
Comprised of the Edinburgh-based Gaine brothers – Eugene (vocals, guitar), Fergus (lead guitar), Donal (bass) and Eoin (drums) – Dubinski combine big anthems with strong principles and should appeal to fans of socially conscious, fierce bands such as Fontaines D.C, Benefits and Yard Act.
