Eyes On Us (It’s the Sound of a Drone) – a confrontation with the double edge of modern drones: the surveillance machines that hover over protests to control and intimidate and the armed drones that terrorise civilians in war zones. It’s the sound of paranoia power and danger coming from up above.

Berlin fuzz-punk band Trash Pillow return with RAW a four-track EP that confronts the theme of war from the inside out — politically personally emotionally and absurdly. A project built on distortion memory and lived experience RAW flips the word WAR backwards reclaiming it unmasking it and forcing it into the light.
For bassist Meray the EP’s themes are not abstract. “I come from a war-torn country. These songs are not fiction — they’re memories fears nightmares and echoes.” she says.“ RAW felt like the only honest name. It’s WAR backwards because sometimes the only way to understand something is to flip it and face it again.”
With RAW Trash Pillow don’t just write about war — they dissect it laugh at it cry in it and shout back at it. t is messy loud vulnerable and true. It is war reversed.
