Charismatic chanteuse Diamante has released her new single “Bite of the Beast“, a cinematic rock anthem about the addictive yet self-destructive embrace of romantic obsession, and the accompanying official video (via Sumerian Records).
When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Diamante shared: “‘Bite of the Beast’ was inspired by the dark romance novels I’ve been reading and the song is set in a twisted fairytale world. It’s about a kind of all-consuming infatuation that changes you forever — the kind where, once it’s over, nothing else can ever compare. I wanted the song to feel visceral and dangerous, like falling under a spell you know will ruin you. It’s the kind of heartbreak that you don’t want cured.”
